This week we're featuring the perfectly minimal photography of Nugroho Wahyu. Currently a student at Soedirman University in Indonesia, Nugroho has been studying photography for the past few years. He shoots with a Sony A7r ii.
Nugroho's favorite photo genres are portraits, fine art, and landscapes — fashion and conceptual photography are especially interesting to him. He cites Indonesian fashion photographer Andre Wiredja as a key inspiration behind his work.
This photo is a favorite of Nugroho's because he likes the simplicity and the sunlight of the golden hour shot. While he now views photography mainly as a hobby, we can definitely see Nugroho continuing to snap beautifully simple shots as a future career.
