All photos on Pexels are under the Creative Commons Zero (CC0) license. This means you can copy, modify, distribute and perform the photos. The pictures are free for personal and even for commercial use. All without asking for permission or setting a link to the source. This means attribution is not required. All in all the photos are completely free to be used for any legal purpose.

Currently we cover over 1800 photos. And every week at least 35 new photos will be added. All photos are hand-picked from free image sources. We make sure all published pictures are high-quality and licensed under CC0. Only photos from reliable sources like Unsplash, Gratisography, Little Visuals and many more are added to our photo database.
